I really didn't think I was going to like this building, and yet -

I just can't get into the exposed concrete... it takes what otherwise is a really cool loking building (love the curved windows) and kind of brings it down to me. I really want to love this building but for that reason i can't get there. Not ugly or terrible by any means...nothing like that Beekman utter disgrace of a mess. But it could have been pretty damn great without the long slabs of concrete wall.

-my apologies if this isn't that building, there's so many tall buildings going up in NYC it is confusing as hell for someone who doesn't get to the Big Apple very often.

Yeah, I don't get it... this takes an otherwise solid addition to Lower Manhattan's skyline and just messes it up... thankfully you don't see it on all views, but where you do, it's quite an eyesore.
