id say an pelli building is pretty similar to another one of his works.
peachtree hilton in atlanta
and the ren cen in detroit

That's because 225 South Sixth in Minneapolis was designed by Steven Freed from I.M. Pei's office. One of the architects working for him left the firm during the design development to join Kohn Pedersen Fox and became the major designer of the Frankfurt tower. The Minneapolis tower pre-dates the Frankfurt tower by about a year. So these two towers really are cousins, though I think the Minneapolis tower is far more elegant.
