It's actually a fake image. But go ahead and talk about it as if it's real, that's the true hallmark of rational, 21st century debate.

My comment about Conservatives rubbing one out at the thought of having a Nazi as Prime Minister is about as accurate as that photoshopped image of the Prime Minister's face on another actor wearing a costume in a movie but by all means, believe it's real. Otherwise, the Russians are wasting their time on us.

I didn't realize it was fake - I just did a quick Google search using the terms "Justin Trudeau dress up"

I believe the other four images are real. Would you like a replacement image for the fifth one - there are hundreds available.

This one was probably the inspiration for the fake Nazi one........

I hope he campaigns a lot with Doug Ford. The two of them could really work off each other.

Plus there have plenty of successful non-violent revolutions in the past few decades.

CBC's reporting that JWR and Philpott will not run as Greens in the next election. I'm slightly surprised re JWR, but Philpott as anything other than a Liberal or Independent would be weird, if indeed she's planning to seek re-election.

Is this an attempt at humour or are you just being nasty for no apparent reason? Or are you just illustrating my point?

Ugh. Don't get me started. I voted for Justin Trudeau, because he said he would help people like me. Have you seen the price of gas? The price of food? He's raising taxes and making things even MORE expensive. No matter how hard we work, it's like we'll never get ahead. WE'RE the people that keep this country going and he just doesn't get us. I think it's time for him to go.

Liberals are definitely losing one seat in NL. Jack Harris has announced he's running for the NDP. He's going to win. He BARELY lost to the red wave last time. The results each election for which he was candidate:

2015
Liberal: 46.7%
NDP: 45.3%
Con: 6.5%

2011
NDP: 71.2%
Con: 20.9%
Liberal: 6.8%

2008
NDP: 74.5%
Liberal: 12.6%
Con: 9.3%

He's in my district, also - St. John's East. Singh has a bit of Trudeau's vapid fascade but not nearly as bad. And he grew up here so I trust he won't actively fuck us over. My only concern is he's likely to have a disproportionate focus and entirely personal (as opposed to national) point of view on issues involving the Indian subcontinent. But... is that even so bad? One of the fastest-growing regions of the world. Raising Canada's profile and influence there could prove beneficial.

Generally gas and food are provincial although I think the Canadian dollar should be stronger than it is now which the feds control. Feel free to not vote Liberal though.

I would have said that, generally, gas and food are private sector, although gas is heavily taxed.

A gift to the Liberals. They could have done much more "damage" to that party's chances had they run as Greens. Getting elected as an Independent is very difficult.

well I'm not surprised they are running again but am surprised they aren't joining the Green Party as both are good friends with May. It's not a big lose for the Greens but certainly a disappointment and they would have brought a lot of star power and media coverage to the party.

I think they both have their work cut out for them as running as Independents is much harder than it seems especially due to a lack of political infrastructure and funding.
