Thanks, guys! Here's this weeks update. 565 Main Street is a multi-use building with luxury condominiums in the tower and a department store in the base. It was completed in 2005.

I don't know exactly how long that building took, maybe eight hours? Well, that wasn't all productive work, since I had some hard time with some of those window components. I don't know why, but they just didn't act the way I wanted them to act (cut holes and stuff).

Usually I plan the shape first and the execute the plan using components as much as I can. For this last building my original plans were a little different, more symmetrical, but the final shape came to me on a walk with my wife as a combination of the original shape and a building I saw.

I think so too - except for the fact that this country lacks skyscrapers.

It makes up for that in it's urban areas. Far north cities always have have awesome urban areas. And your stuck between a world super power and a fiercly nuetral country.

woo! That's an awesome building and the detail is amazing!

Will you include heights, floors, use, etc... on your buildings? Cause I'd love to know more about them!

Nice to see that you have knowledge of Nordic cities. It is very pleasant to live here, but for architectural pleasures I prefer North American cities - for me your cityscapes are much more interesting than the cities here.

Sorry, I was so anxious presenting the shots that I forgot to include heights and floors. Will do that from now on. I've been thinking about making a diagram to show the heights of the buildings I've already presented. I will do that when I find the time.

Here's an update. Only a small one this time, since I won't be around my computer this weekend. This is O'Halley's Irish bar at the Northeast corner of Jefferson and Russell streets. The favorite after hours spot for businessmen and workers alike.

The Arizona Building stands at the northeast corner of Main Street and Arizona Avenue. It was built for the Arizona Insurance Company in 1924 and still houses their offices. It has 14 stories and is 171 ft (52 m) tall.

Here's a chart to compare the height of the buildings (so far):

Wow! That first render looks amazing. One of the best I've seen in this sketchup forum [treras has a really good one too]. Keep up the good work.
