It would destabilize if you remove it. I assume it will just stay in the ground.

It looks like they are making good progress on filling the hole. Does anyone know where they are taking the dirt from to fill the hole with?

The hole looks like it's getting close to full. Equipment inside the borders is visible from street level looking across the top of the lot.

Price slashed from $8.5M to $2M. Lot remediation should be complete next month.

So it is really $2M plus $2M on the property taxes for the remediation cost.

That has been known for a while. It's unpaid taxes plus the hole being filled.
