I wonder if they'll cap the east tower. Doesn't have one of those concrete booms.

I believe that is what their stated intention was at the start, but they could have changed their mind. We will see for sure in a few weeks.

I was wondering that too though when the second crane was first set up it was quite short only 3-4 tower sections but then they added another 4 sections to it about a month ago which makes me wonder if they are just going to go ahead and build it. It is a rental and won't be complete for another 1.5 years so it might be worth it to just complete it all. Also guardian north went up with a concrete boom and guardian south didn't. Mark also didn't use a boom. Maybe they just want the taller one to go up quicker?

Definitely possible, being nearly twice as tall it will take much longer to build.

That's what makes you Tallbob

I wouldn't mind seeing it at around at least 40 floors.

It's amazing to think between WAM 1, 2 & Mark we have two 100m+ towers, and ~700 units, all in the north half of a block.

That is comparable to neighbourhoods like Elboya, Rosedale or Erlton for total dwelling count. Amazing.

From Qualex's Fb page. We should know within a week or so if the east tower is a go too. Half the unit count as the west tower, pretty sure WAM will move forward on it. Better now then to come back in a couple years and build between two towers with 600 units worth of people living on either side.

SW of there bunch of new condos u/c. Metropolitain alone is 430 units. That part of the Beltline is getting Victoria Parked. Qualex and Cressey own some sites around here too, so lots more expected.

There's a bunch of columns up for the fourth floor on the east tower now. Would say both towers are u/c, only 3 podium levels.

Great shot! It almost seems like WAM could borrow Qualex's crane. Of course, Qualex would probably be happy to send that crane to Park Point...

Can someone get a picture update of this job? i'll try when I'm dt tomorrow but since I'm with the inlaws I may have a hard time taking pics of that site specifically. Im more likely to get to Telus sky, Brookfield or Manulife

I don't know if I'll be downtown this week, and then next week I'll be out of town. Might be a dry spell on this one
