This is a fantastic proposal, and it has among the highest profile sites in the city, visited by many, many people, local and from abroad.

I'm impressed that TallBob knows what the word "loathe" means.

Rusty: And I'm glad I got so much attention because I said I didn't like something that others do! Some of you guys take this stuff personal.... Why? And I have a pretty good knowledge of what words mean, thanks for your concern. But hey, I'll hopefully strive to get to your intellectual level my friend!

All it needs is an underground C-Train station and adjacent N-S running line

Nah it's all good. I don't really care if people don't like this or any of the other signature developments here. Just eager to see this one get going. This one is going to be so awesome to watch get built due to its very unique design.

I think he would just let out a long breath and disintegrate into dust. His life's ambition would be complete.

Damn I'm so freaking excited for this project! Seriously hoping nothing gets lost from this proposal. Is Marc Boutin the designer of the square? He did awesome work on the memorial park.

I'll be very disappointed if that girl just off the centre to the right isn't there...

(looks great, super pumped for this project ... Reeeeally hope it goes through quickly - I bet the developer worked with the City on it by the looks of things, which is awesome for its chances to keep the original design)

Anyone know what's happening with the Barley Mill, The White Eau Claire Lumber building, and the smoke stack? These are really the only three things Id like to see perserved somehow from the current site.
