As usual. Much ado about nothing.

Sounds great. Should be great addition to the harbour front and for tourists too.

Any idea when Jack Astor's is suppose to open?

Sitting on the 2nd level (over what will soon be Jack Astor's) offers a really nice view over the water and Harbour Drive.

Not sure when the official opening is, but the inside looks completely finished. The only thing that made me remember it wasn't officially opened were a few boxes in the porch.

I hope it's not a case of "If you have to ask..."
Prices are on par with meals at the keg, just alot more variety and all made from scratch no pre packaged food or frozen.

Legros & Motti - "Classic European Kitchen" (described as French-Italian fusion)

Hmm.. I dunno.. featuring a burger and fries as your main title picture on Facebook is a little concerning.

Is it pronounced Leg-ros (with emphasis on the leg) or is it pronounced like Legrows (with emphasis on the grows)

Leg-ros, I assume. LeGrow's and Motti's would be funny, though.

I thought that all along too, but for some reason last night I started to wonder if it was actually pronounced Legrows.

You should check out the menu a bit more, They have one type of burger which is kobe beef burger (not your average burger) and one type of steak the majority of the menu is pastas, pizzas, sandwiches all made from scratch in the restaurant.

They've since updated their cover/title photo on Facebook.

I have only heard bad things about L&M, such as the food not even arriving. I just assumed that is was some kinks that needed to be worked out. I will definitely try it once the hype has died down. There is no parking for the gym anymore in the evenings due to the restaurant. I hope 351 Water will alleviate some of that.

I'd reckon it'd be Luh-Groh, as Le Gros in French would be "The Big" or "The Fat [one]".
I personally, cuz I'm weird that way, would go as far as to pronounce the " & " as et / è as it is Franco-Italo Fusion.. but thats just me...

I think hooters is currently under design, which wont take long. Id say you will see construction start the early summer.

Agreed. The Works almost has too many options that it makes it hard to choose. The burger I had tasted good but was served on a crappy bun similar to the cheap ones you get at the supermarket. Not very "gourmet" in my opinion. Also, I hate the decor in The Works.

Hooters food is crap by the way. I've been to two in two different states, and it's no different than eating at a place like Jungle Jims. It's really only about the novelty and not the food.

I've been to Hooters once and I thought it was comparable to Boston Pizza... so not great, but pretty decent for a sports bar atmosphere.

So far I've heard only good about L&M. A few people have said they waited a while for their meals, but the food and atmosphere were Phenomenal. I'm sure the service times are just early glitches that they have to work through.. No different than any new restaurant. I look forward to trying it soon!
