Very bleak, dreary atmosphere, not all done in 4 seasons in balance. If I was unfamilar with the area and from a warmer climate I would hesitate even to visit.

Nontheless nice photographs and very diverse expansive coverage most tourists never get the chance to see. Good work.

I'm getting closer and closer to being sold on my relocation plan, and Chicago seems to be taking the lead.

What an amazing city.

Wicker Park seems to be a neighborhood close to a potential future employer, and it also seems to be a pretty happening place for people my age (mid 20s). Thundertubs do you have an opinion on this neighborhood?

^ Agreed. Not every picture needs to be taken with sunny blue skies. In fact, that gets kind of old.

I grew up on Chicago's south side. Neat to see all 4 seasons covered in this thread. Whenever I see Lincoln Park I'll always remember the day I was stung by a bee on one of my toes while eating lunch. That hurt like a mother!

I liked that you showed some NW Indiana on there too! I spent a lot of time in Hammond growing up as well.

Awesome tour. I really appreciate your attention to detail in adding captions for us non Chicagoans. Sad seeing that hole in the ground for the Spire.

RE: Devon/Western | West Rogers Park
Still unsure how to quote/reload an earlier photo, sorry... Long time thread follower first time poster. This is one of the most superb sets for Chicago I have ever seen. Very serene scenes (that I see daily) placed in a beautiful new light...... That being said, this photo towards the bottom of the thread is Devon/California.

Some great pictures in there that show some of the high density areas in regular neighborhoods. I might show some of them to the population density thread in city discussions.
