The
second picture and
sudhouse + sax mural pic are using a wide-angle lens. Like a fish-eye lens but not as extreme.
The steeple-like tops: Do you mean
this one? Those are very typical rowhouses in central DC. Much of the city looks like that, but that particular block is 1st Street NW near its corner with S Street NW, in the Bloomingdale neighborhood.
