Those debates are legendary!

I'll have details about the dinner/drinks portion of the day soon.

Dinner: 5:30PM at Steamworks

I've made reservations for between 15 and 20 people so confirmation in this thread would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Love to join but my research paper will not be finished by the time of the meet. For those of you who are going, have fun and put some pics on the board.

I'll attend, will most likely stay for dinner but not too late.
Sad to see so many people not attending, looks like no one wants a costco hotdog.

I'd love to be there but I'm the best man at a wedding in Nanaimo that day.

I even have an orange vest that I could have brought. Oh well... c'est la vie.

Figured I'd throw up the Itinerary once again just to keep it fresh in people's minds.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

11:30AM - meet at Harbour Centre lobby off of Hastings
1:00PM - meet the rest of the crew and start walking tour of downtown
~6:00PM - head down to Steamworks for dinner
11:00PM - see who can swim the fastest across the harbour to N. Van

I have no idea why but I had it in my head that the meet was on Sunday. Guess I'm starting to lose it as I get older.
Anyways I will still make it but I will need to disappear at 4pm due to other commitments. Hotdogs are still on me for those that show up. Sorry I won't be able to stay for dinner this time.

I should be able to stop in for a drink at Steamworks but my week has gone sideways because of the power failure and I won't have the time on Saturday that I thought I would. Sorry everyone. It would have been a lot of fun to do the walkabout and lookout. I hugely appreciate the work that has gone into organizing this and I'm looking foward to looking at the avalanche of photos from the day.

I still plan on going tomorrow, probably for 1:00 p.m. at the entrance to the Harbour Centre.

So just to confirm, we'll meet everyone who is not coming to the Lookout at the Hastings entrance to Harbour Centre at 1PM, on the main floor (not below the escalator).

I'll be there at 12, I was originally going to skip the lookout but since I'm feeling guilty of having to split before 4 I might as well show up earlier.

From the complete silence we had today about yesterday, I had thought one of you had drugged and nabbed everyone at the party or something.

What's a titty bar?

It was good times.

One of the forumers had access to the roof of Shaw Tower so we ventured up there and took in the sights. For a while we were looking down on the folks in the Lookout. And speaking of the Lookout, we we went up on the house!

It was great to meet all of you.

Come on mr.x, a dirty old man like you doesn't need an explanation.
