Yes, I've wondered if it's going to look quite bland as it goes up, or if the material for the prefab facade will have this texture. After all, this weathered stone texture is what makes the rendering so appealing...otherwise, its just a differently colored, shorter Park Tower.

^ my guess is that it will look every bit as bland as the others. i think this "aged" rendering that we've all been looking at for a while now has fooled a lot of people into believing that this project is going to be something that it is not.

Speaking of renderings. I got a new highresolution rendering yesterday. Now I have the original of what they sent me, and one that was edited just a little in photoshop for the contrast. I will post them both, then you guys choose which you prefer. The one you pick is the one I will upload to Emporis.

This is the original.

This is the manipulated one.

If it really is gray, I don't think the tower will look as good as the green before. The gray roof will especially look weird on the ground level with courtyard - it looked more European with green.

^ I drove by on Friday and there was some activity going on but I didn't pay attention. My girlfriend lives right down the street so I'll take a look tomorrow morning when I leave for work, from her condo.
