Granite Tower is absolutely stunning. A fine, modern adaptation of the flatiron, I must say.

Im going to be following this project as well, watching the progress. I like this one!

Oh ya, I REALLY like the semi-circular twins back in post #31!! Why couldnt they just make a 400+ meter version of this for the new WTC?

It really is a gorgeous design I just wish it was a lot taller! Nice too see skyscrapers rising in Paris.

Fabb, or anyone else.... What companies are going to be located in Granite and T1? Is it major ones, multiple small users, or are they still looking/ building on spec?

Granite is the third tower of the Société Générale HQ. The bank has been located in La Défense for decades (first at the Ariane building, formerly known as Société Générale, and now at the famous twins that are being completed with Granite).

I have no information about the users of T1, but I guess that it'll be occupied by several firms.

About the construction of the mid rise ^^ : I suspect that it's not a new building, but a renovation. I'm not positive though.
(I think I remember an old Colgate building near that location... it might be the same)

My annual visit to La Défense (June 30):

T1

^This construction is probably a low rise next to T1

Granite :

^Height of the building : 184 m, one more meter than previously announced. Still not a supertall...

Hey Fabb,

Thanks for those shots. Frankfurt has taller buildings with some excellent designs, but as skyline I think La Defence has the best in Europe and these two towers will only further enhance it.
