It would be nice to see a skyscraper with some bulk like the Twin Towers were. Even better, why won't a developer bring back the Twin Towers but in a more modern, neo-futurist way? Somewhere in Lower Manhattan, of course.

I wonder what the odds are of the FAA ever being in a position to approve something 2300' tall. This would need the 500'+ spire if built. No use making it 1792' with a stubby little 208' foot stub.
