Ah, forgot the nostalgic image...
C'mon now. Posting that Dressler picture is going over the line. I thought this was supposed to all be in fun...

Were you born the last time they won?

He probably wasn't.

The funny thing with the LDC is we usually win even with a shitty season record. What is it like 12 wins in a row.

I can't see the Bombers not sweeping these games. Do they even need to be played?

The Bombers are just so damned good that they don't even need the ex-Riders on their team. so, they should probably give them back, or at least leave them back in Winnipeg this weekend.

I think you're overestimating the Riders offence.

Riders are just lulling the Bombers into a false sense of security. The come-from-behind victory will hurt way more when we wait until the late 4th quarter for the comeback.

Good game Bombers. The 12 year streak is over - streaks are meant to be broken. I was pleasantly surprised the Riders made it as close as they did as it had all the signs of another blowout after the first half. Too bad the game was somewhat marred by another display of goofy ass rules and officiating that affected both teams. Good game and good win by the Bombers - the Riders were outplayed again.

Now, if the Riders can actually salvage some dignity by making a road game at least close next week.

Not sure if I'd agree with the bolded statement above. The Riders had slightly more yards gained, slightly more time of possession and lost by only 3 points, while losing the turnover battle 0-4. The Bombers certainly made fewer mistakes, as evidenced by the turnovers and I would certainly say they were out-coached. But so far as the Bombers outplaying the Riders, I'm not so sure.

BTW, great Ticats - Argos LDC being played right now.
