Good job with the rendering. That actually looks fine there. Not out of place at all.

I always laughed when I read or heard someone say it didn't fit in that area. lol
This is why I'm such a height hound. I hear so many people talking about new highrises that are proposed and they talk about them like they'll be grossly out of place size and height-wise. Most times their comments are clearly uneducated about the situation. It's not their fault of course, how are they to know? But a lot of times people have no idea that what's already in the neighborhood that is nearly the same size as what's being proposed. So I like to track down their heights and list them at Emporis for people to see them to judge for themselves.

At the Broadway site today, the crane was up and half completed around lunch time. Not sure if they got it all up however because the winds picked up later in the day. I will try to get some photos soon...my son lives right behind the site.

Interesting... it seems that residential and ultimately commercial developments are creeping ever so closer to I-10 east, which is relatively sparse in that department. I'm sure this will accelerate with the pending Tx 130 tollway extension to Seguin. Schertz will also benefit from this, as they have a huge swath of land running along I-10 east of 1604. I can only imagine what that city's population will be in another 5-10 years.

SA looks like Corpus Chrisiti from that side of I-10. Looks like development is finally catching up.

The current upgrading and expanding of 10 in that area is really going to help with the all the new population from all the housing going up as well as the commercial/retail going up along 78 and the large shopping center planned at northeast corner of Foster Rd. and 10 (the land adjacent to the frontage road, below Wagner HS and Horizon Pointe label). I was actually in that area this past week, I drove down 10 to Foster and from Foster to 78. Some observations: The expansion/upgrading to Foster Road north of 10 to just before 78 made the 2 and a half mile drive last nearly 30 minutes but it's worth it as the prior condition of the roads was beyond sub par. Also, the Miller Ranch subdivision looks really nice.
