It would be nice if they were able to do this once in a while...

That would be pretty cool! Is that just a fan made render, or something more official?

Nobody's fallen off yet. So far so good. I'm still waiting a little while before I go up on that thing.

I"ve been trying to avoid people and crowds, due to the virus. But I just may have to visit this sooner rather than later.

Today is the day. Long time coming. Looks awesome.

That said nearly half a century on from the WTC South Tower's over 200ft taller outside observation deck. Lets hope this is surpassed in the 2020's.

Getting a massive WOTW vibe from the Peak restaurant. I love that table in the corner for two as seen below link.

Sky dancers wow first crowds at Hudson Yards sky deck

by Linda O'Flanagan
March 11, 2020

Quote:
New York City’s newest must-see attraction opened in spectacular fashion this morning with a performance by aerial dancers dangling 1,000 ft. above Hudson Yards.

The feat by vertical performers Bandaloop marked the public opening of Edge, the highest outdoor skydeck in the Western Hemisphere and part of the new Hudson Yards community built over the west side rail yards in Manhattan.
Quote:
Related CEO Jeff Blau said they decided to go ahead with the opening despite the coronavirus outbreak that hit the city last week and has led to the cancellation of many public events.

“Out of an abundance of caution, we will be operating at a reduced capacity until the virus is contained,” Blau said, noting that, once the virus scare is over, Edge will welcome a New York City school group every week for a free visit.

Just two days after it opened, the Edge has closed due to coronavirus:

As for dancing on skyscrapers, how about dancing with them? I can do some pretty cool stuff with glowsticks and lightsabers. Skyscraper cosplay is hella fun, I wish I could get a group together. (That might be challenging- the type of costumes I do are seriously detailed things made with high end materials such as genuine silk and leather, constructed to the same standards as regular clothing)
We need more fun with skyscrapers, period!
