To echo Trae

Boston is the number one seed in the East. Lakers are the one seed in the West. The way this homecourt advantage is going both teams just need to win their home games and they will be in the Finals which is what everyone wants. No one (excluding SA & Det fans) wants to see the Pistons and Spurs in the finals. We all know that having the two most storied franchises in the NBA in BOS-LAL will bank and skyrocket the ratings. I still think that the Spurs can win this against LAL and this will go at least 6 games perhaps a seventh.

How much of last night's 'collapse' would you attribute to fatigue? Not to discount the very effective Lakers defense in the late 3rd-4th periods.... and lest we forget, Kobe.

Not to sound like a Suns fan or anything, but did you see that elbow Kobe used to get Bruce off of him on his last drive (with 20 seconds or so left)? Dude's really been working on his MJ impression.

That having been said, the Spurs lost this one plain and simple. I expect them to better pace themselves in the first half of next game, and for Pop to better manage their minutes (particularly Manu's).

While I am a die-hard Los Angeles Laker fan, I will say that I like the attitude displayed by the San Antonio Spurs. They play clean, and have a solid defense.

Considering how they changed how they were doubling Duncan... its half and half. The lack of points was because of the Lakers. The lack of getting loose balls and such... well that was fatigue.

I'm not really a Spurs fan. Mainly because of Ginobili. He's a guy who flops alot, yet never thinks he commits an offensive foul. Kinda like Rasheed Wallace and Richard Hamilton. When he cries to the refs, it definitely hurts there chances.

I haven't heard of an NBA conspiracy that involves the Spurs losing in a while. Sure is refreshing. Go Spurs dang it.

As a dedicated Spurs fan, here's a few of my thoughts on dropping a 20 point lead and loosing last night:

...even so there's still a lot of games to play and I still like our chances.

When Bowen sat down with this fourth foul in the third quarter, that is when Kobe went off on his point scoring show. Bowen didn't come back until the 4th, when the momentum swung the Lakers way. Down by 20 in the mid-third, just to come back and win by four.

The lakers are on their game-- don't be like Suns fans. Spurs can pull it off!

Pop needs to return Manu to the bench. The second unit needs some energizing, with Udoka looking lost and Finley suffering from a lack of open looks. I really think Tim and Tony can hold down the fort for the first 6 minutes of each half. And besides, exploding out of the gate hasn't helped them in 4 of the last 8 games, so they might as well try to pace themselves.

Ran themselves down again-- and when the lakers were flagging, the Spurs were already packing up.

What is pop doing?! Oh well, the Lakers are on their game!

Spurs just need to take care of business on their home floor tomorrow and we've got a best of three series. Otherwise, it'll be a tough row to hoe.

Spurs need to shoot 45%

They need to outrebound LA

Timmy, Manu, and Tony need to score 70+ combined.

If any combination of those things happens, I think we've got them tomorrow.
