Many modern office buildings are built with dynamic glass or similar products. It is transparent, but there is a micro-layer between the panes that blocks UV light and solar heat gain while allowing visible light in. There's no need for a reflective coating. The downside is that you can see inside the building from the street during the day, so if you push furniture up against the windows or have your mini-blinds all at different levels, it can make your building look a bit messy from the outside.
Edited to add: Here's a picture of Indeed's NW buildings (which I posted on another thread a while ago) which were built with dynamic glass. You can see the blinds and furniture in the second picture.
