180 m and only 33 floors ?
The floor-to-floor height will be very important. Over 5 m.

May be not that high but probably quite important, for the "180 m 33 floors" information is official (see first pic of the thread). Around 40 storeys would have been more usual.

But there is that strange structure at the top, whatever it is it's roughly 5 or 6 floors high. Just below you have four storeys where the floor to floor heigh looks double. We need better renderings.

I just happened to be in the area today and took these shots....

Here is a more detailed rendering. I think the structure up top is around five stories

Not the best picture, but I got chased out of the site. As you can see the crane is up

April, 13th 2006, from the HSBC tower (pic by oysterperpetual)

The excavation is nearly filled, this building will soon rise. From the Bund, it may soon block the view on SWFC construction.

Great view on the Pelli twins plot too.

I wonder if it's only decorative.

I'd imagine so. It'll probably have a great lighting scheme.

Foundations for the first floor are going up. It's a weird looking site from the air

Hot news, Giallo ! I think we can clearly see the footprint of the building now : really close to the Shangri La Hotel extension.

From the rendering it looks like its just a clear wall of glass.

The security around this building is crazy. I can never get in to the site. Usually, guards are pretty laid back around here. This was the best shot I could get.
