^Plus the stuff right down Red River with the Hotel Van Zandt, which should be done by then. I just noticed last weekend that the foundations are up. And then whatever else is built on Rainey Street one block over. That 70 Rainey Street project was rumored to be 30-floors. It's going through the city approval process now. And then there's Millennium Rainey. It's only 8 floors, but it'll be another crane in the sky over there. So between now and the beginning of 2015 there could be a dozen tower cranes in that area of downtown. Every single one of these 8 projects is actively pursing permits with the city.

Plus financing doesn't seem to a problem for any of these projects either. Austin is so hot right now that financing seems to already be in place when projects are announced.

Doucet & Associates engineering in Austin is navigating the project through the city development process.

President and CEO John Doucet said his history with World Class Capital has been productive and worthwhile — even though the 99 Trinity project has had a few bumps.

“We have worked with them for several years,” Doucet said. “All projects have challenges, but we have maintained an open and respectful relationship throughout. We have full intentions of continuing to work with them in the future.”
