OMG, how coincidental.

My cat Herbie once lived in San Francisco. And if he had had more black fur I would have named him Oreo.

What a complete utter WASTE of $ for the "Diagnostic Imaging" centre...

The future is in alternative healing... Reiki ... Healing oneself, not giving your power away to the Pharmaceutical & standard medical establishment. A Reiki healer can detect & heal energy blockages for a LOT cheaper than anything from standard medical treatment.

The only thing you'll get from a "diagnostic centre" is radiation of your body parts, which, if the doctors OK more and more tests...will eventually lead to the patient getting cancer.

Re: the placement of the different energy centres in the body... Ever hear someone being called "Base"? People like that are just trying to survive, they are closest to Grizzly Bear personalities... The lowest chakra is the red one. "Low lifes" would also describe someone who is not evolved enough to be more civilized.

Most diseases can be grouped into two causes...

1) Stress from life causes over work on the body and workplace or family bullying can cause a decrease in health.

2) "Environmental" -- stuff in our outside air that shouldn't be there. Barium Oxide, Aluminum Oxide...Answer is to DETOX.

But to you, I guess I'm "weird" just for mentioning this.. .Go Winnipeg Jets!

I don't think it's trolling either.......but it's just plain weird, most of his comments. It's like he picks the most obscure way to either respond to and answer questions.

SRSLY?

Reiki is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard about. Might as well just take homeopathic medicine (aka saline solution) and wear Q-Ray bracelets.

I can see it now: "We are pleased to announce the newest addition to the HSC - the Buhler Centre for Witchcraft and Wizardry. They will be partnering with the Alchemy Laboratories at Richardson College for the Environment at U of W."

That sad thing about this is, when you talk about things like stress and pollution in the air that enters our body, you have a point, but when you being up something like Reiki or chakra khans, it just makes you sound batshit, and then everyone ignores or discredits the actual point you had.

I've said things that have had religious people say they feel like Jews in Nazi Germany. Stuff like, "I don't think religious texts should be the basis of our laws" and "the bible mentions, but discourages, the practice of polygyny many times and refers to wives as chattel, so the concept of a 'traditional marriage' being between a man and a women is somewhat flawed", or "I didn't choose to be gay".

Apparently saying those things is very offensive to religious people.

International dancers join top rank of RWB

By: Staff Writer
Posted: 06/30/2011 10:39 AM

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet is getting an injection of international talent as Chinese and Russian dancers join its top rank for the coming 72nd season.
Yun Wang, 22, and Yang Jiao, 26, a married couple who were principal dancers with China’s Liaoning Ballet, have been hired as principals by RWB.
Both have won awards in ballet competitions and have extensive experience in classical works such as Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty.
Nurzhan Kulybaev, 25, has been a principal dancer with Jacobson’s State Academic Ballet Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia, since 2007. He has danced lead roles in classical and modern works.

Geez, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Regina, all have high crime rates, what is the other common denominator? It isn't that they are all prairie cities either.
