It's the one night of the year that Toronto comes to town. And usually it's a 4pm start locally because, Toronto.
Man we hate that disrespect.
But tonight the game starts at 7!

You don't even live in Vancouver. I'm surprised you get TV reception out there.

AFAIK this is almost always on Saturday nights, when the Leafs-Canucks game is the featured early game on HNIC.

Which I don't mind all that much actually.

Canucks have a pretty healthy line-up right now, so I hope we can clobber the Leafs.

Yes this is the first time since 2007 that the leaf game is at 7pm local. And man what an insult.

I don't recall any games during the week starting at 4. There would not be enough time for people to get there from work. Or maybe Leaf games have all been on Saturdays?

Games always seem to start at 5 when the Leafs are in town. Pretty disrespectful to the hometown team and their fans. A major reason why I hate the Leafs and will always cheer against them, even in the SCF.

Isn't it usually just the HNIC game that caters to the Toronto audience? For instance Saturday's game in Edmonton is at 7pm Eastern.

So Treviling p*ssy foots around Peters....humming and hawing delaying the inevitable until Peter just quits but yet Dallas "fires" their coach upon immediate discovery of his wrong doing....that is a respectable move Nill did compared to Hey-my-brother-is-the-Boston-Pizza-guy GM of the Flamers

I believe the 4pm start time was a concession by the NHL to the NHLPA during the last CBA in lieu of a salary cap bump. Allows players in the west to build their personal brands by playing front of an audience.

Like Lucic getting his 3rd goal tonight and Koskinen letting in a groaner from center ice? Flames 2 points behind the Oil!
