I maintain that, 80 some years later, this is still the finest skyscraper ever constructed.

In my opinion the Hagia Sophia and Pantheon are the greatest structures created by man.

I find this interesting, because although I'm always in support of new and interesting styles of architecture, and not necessarily going back to old styles, 1000+ yrs from now when whoever is around judges which were the best styles so far, it's possible their choice will be a style we've already passed by, we may have already passed our zenith.

if you post something dont repeat it twice. its annoying. and i dont think you guys need explanations to your posts, but one would be nice. now lets keep posting please.

how about a classic widely regarded as having some of the finest lines and proportions of any structure ever built in any era. yeah, it's a little bit worse for the wear these days, but still an amazing sight to behold. it's been 15 years since i was last in athens, but i'll never forget ascending the acropolis and getting my first up close view, breathtaking.

I agree. As close as one can get to perfection.
