^ I haven't heard of anything else planned for Assiniboine Avenue along the river... I guess there was that plan for a tower across the street from Heritage Landing near Assiniboine and Garry, but that wouldn't be on the riverbank. (Whatever happened to that one?)

It would be pretty cool to see a few more buildings go up around there. It could push that neighbourhood past the tipping point in terms of supporting businesses and storefront activity in the Bro-Ass neighbourhood... there are a few older walk-ups on both sides of the river that strike me as prime candidates for redevelopment.

DCondo has now been branded as 390 On the River (check out the website). There is now 92 units including some 1 bedroom units with the majority of the floor plans redesigned. The top two floors with have two penthouses each with the owner deciding what the floor plan should be. All appliances are built in Jenn-Air/Fisher and Paykel/Panasonic and on floors 18 and up you can upgrade to Thermador. The floor plans are SO much better. Who designed the first floor plans was an amateur. 36 of the 92 units are "on hold".

This project is interesting to me as an economic barometer of sorts. If it sells quickly it will indicate that the Peg has come a long, long way.

Saw the ads and thought 390 was going to be another new build.

Surprised so much of it is still for sale!

The bathrooms are still too small.

Quite a few years ago there was some old whitish townhouse type places on east end of Assiniboine on river side demolished , still a big empty lot now

Believe those are the original buyers who have been given an option to buy again at a significantly higher price or walk from their original purchase and deposit.

LOL! This will most definitely be a barometer if it sells. It's been for sale since 2012, they never reached the claimed 70% sold over that time period, went into bankruptcy after not selling and now they've raised the prices by almost $200 psf.

Yep... barometer of barometers indeed!

It is a great looking building but these are now pushing T.O prices.
