I don't know about that, because I've tried to vote from school and home, and no matter what computer I'm on, I can only vote once a day.

Winnipeg is in fifth place with San Francisco nipping at our heels for a chance to be immortalized on a Monopoly board.

But while fifth is nice, it doesn't count for everything because only the top two cities will get placed in the game.

That's why Marisa Pedatella, a marketing services specialist at Hasbro Canada, encourages people to keep voting daily for Winnipeg at www.monopolyvote.com

Voting, which began today, ends March 9.

"Winnipeg and Quebec City are the two Canadian cities in the Top 20 list," Pedatella said today.

"We have reserved Baltic and Mediterranean for the two wild card cities so as long as you have enough Winnipeggers voting you can get on there."

Currently, Winnipeg has the support of 7.1 per cent of the voters while Quebec is in first place with 15.1 per cent followed by Taipei at 12.6 per cent, Novi Sad at nine per cent, and Gdynia at 8.8 per cent. San Francisco is right behind at 6.5 per cent.

As the article states, voting for the 2 remaining spots has begun. I just voted and Winnipeg is up to 7.4 % now, but still in 5th. Get voting!
