My grandma's home will be demolished and replaced with 2 new 2-story units. It's located in the South Manchaca District (south of Ben White between Manchaca & South 1st). Jdawg's stomping grounds.
My mom and aunt sold it late last year finally. They were hoping it'd be renovated, but I knew it'd get torn down. I've been monitoring the permit site, and they were filed this past Monday.
I grew up at that house. She kept me before and after school and during the summers all the way through middle school at Porter. Sad to see it go.
