Edmonton - Riding the rails

Today I had the privilege of going on a field trip of sorts from Downtown to Old Strathcona and back by way of our High Level Streetcar.

Enjoy.

Our new tallest, Stantec Tower heading to 251m.

Our new Walterdale Bridge

LRT

The venerable High Level Bridge

Urban gardening

The best place in town for a flick.

Navy

A staple

Pride

Malibu

Jazzy

End of Steel Park

Paddle strong

Recently been watching a lot of mafia movies and all of sudden to realize that it is perfect and very convenient for Edmonton urban gangsters to dump bodies as such dense forests surrounding the city...lack of neighborhood watch and surveillance cameras.

The tall building in the distance looks very similar to the Austonian here in Austin.

Tis indeed a gem of a neighbourhood and formerly a competing city to that of Edmonton...

There are a couple more golf courses just outside the overhead shot as well.
