Morristown is really 2 hours by train??? I live in South Orange and it's like 25-40 mins for me depending on what train I get. I assumed Morristown was like an hour tops. What train are you catching?

Morristown is less than an hour from Manhattan by train. I'm pretty sure there are even faster weekday express runs.

It's a great town. Thousands of housing units are planned in and near downtown. It should be a great urban center once the major development projects get going.

I usually take an early morning train , I rechecked and from NY it says an average of 70mins...

Its 70 mins , and the express services don't start intill south orange , when the 3 track opens up... Morristown shows you don't need skyscrapers to make a city Urban.

Wow, Morristown looks very nice.

When I was a kid, my family came really close to moving there. Cool story, I know.

Check out parts 2 and 3. Morristown packs a lot into its 2.9 square miles. It's densely populated and is the regional center for that part of NJ.

There is a lot of redevelopment in progress and planned.

It's more of a small city than a town.

Thankfully it's losing its dated colonial image.
