Koh Rong(Lonely Beach)
Koh Rong Island is one of the most undeveloped islands in the Gulf of Thailand. Most of the island is unexplored, and covered by dense jungle. There you will find no paved roads, no cars in sight, no ATM's, and all you can see are a limited amount of bungalows and shops lined up along the beach that mainly owned and managed by westerners. Cambodia as a whole seemed like a haven for backpackers. Koh Rong is about a 2 hour boat ride from the mainland in SihanoukVille which took us 10 hours to get to from Siem Reap.
