ST. LOUIS | WUSM/BJC Mid-Campus Center | 12 Floors

Another new facility for the partnership of Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM) and Barnes-Jewish-Christian (BJC) HealthCare is under construction in the Washington University Medical Center.

This 12-story office building will be on their growing medical campus in the Central West End.

The 510,000-square-foot building includes a full basement and will be located next to the Central West End MetroLink station and will consolidate medical offices currently housed at the Barnes-Jewish Center for Outpatient Health and across the Washington University medical campus community.

The project has started construction and is projected to be completed in November 2016.

Downtown and Midtown in the background.

To the far left, the big graded patch of land is where St. Louis College of Pharmacy is building Phase II - a mixed-use project.

Project is being constructed next to the CWE/Medical Center MetroLink Station.

At 1200 feet long (366 meters), BJC's new The Link extension, at Washington University Medical Center is now under construction.

Once finished, the entire link system at the medical center is going to be the longest pedestrian skywalk in Missouri. FYI: The Link at Crown Center in Kansas City is 880 feet long (269 meters).

The BJC Link is going to connect multiple garages, including the new 3,000-car garage - now under construction- and BJC buildings including the new 12-story Mid-Campus Center, which is now under construction.

A new 3,000-car garage is under construction at Washington University Medical Center. The BJC Link skywalk will connect to it.

This building has been under construction only since late October 2015, but is only three floors from topping out.

This baby is going up FAST.
