That happnes because the camera is going below the model. Try lifting the immage up a little with the orbit tool and that should solve your problem.

Dont mean to sound like a D-bag here, but i know you're wrong here because SU wouldn't come with a "Ground position" tool if you wouldn't be able to look at the model from the ground.

Sorry, all I do is use the orbit tool after i position the camera to move the immage up. I didn't say there was a ground positioning tool.

Well, I actually meant more in the context of sharing...I keep forgetting most on this forum build their own models and just share renders - not the models. Most of my models are created with GE in mind.

If you're planning to share your model, you'll want to keep the file sizes in check...and it might help you as well if creating complex or multiple models.

Since there's no official thread on Ker I'll ask this here:

Mo, I'm trying to make a house on SU and I want to make some bomb renders. The thing is that I can't figure out how to install textures I downloaded from the Kerk site. I have Windows Vista. I also want to ask you about how I would make the frosted glass effect seen in the picture bellow:

Dwell co.

Aleks , there are heaps of dowloadable materials. I have metals, woods, car paints, ceramics, glasses and cloth/leather , you need to download them into the kerkythea folder. It should be pretty straight forward so i'm not sure why yours isn't working.

Lol, I figured how to install materials now. I just needed the same name I downloaded the materials in. Anyways, I downloaded a frosted glass material but it wouldn't work. Do you have any links to frosted glass libraries that work?

The ones in the Kerk library always work. I guess they would be safe too.
