You completely missed my point and I’m not going to argue it.

This project is just a lightning rod, crazy.

I wonder when they will admit defeat (if it is officially canned), perhaps we could do a pool for fun, haha.

The Midtown Alliance has a rendering of the base of Towers A & B. It looks like they scrapped the plan for the Richard Meier designed pavilion, No1 Opus place, in favor of Opus Place Tower A, B, & C.

Interesting they are projecting 38floors for tower A, 57 for B, and 55 for tower C. I believe that's a pretty large change in plan correct? I thought just tower B was the tall one.

I wish this thread would just get closed. It’s just garbage at this point.

Or until there is an actual announcement, decision, legitimate source on the project. Everyone wants this to happen, that much is clear.

Funding is the issue, until that's solved it's just a dirt pit.

So was over there last week, and parked in the Promenade deck which looks right into the Opus site. There were actually trucks carrying out dirt and though not major equipment, there was some equipment, trucks and actual workers there.

Well, they have made a huge eyesore. I was in my Lawyers office at "IBM" tower and they are threating to sue...

You know, that might actually be why they keep moving dirt... I would think there are regulations against leaving a property in that condition due to watershed issues and generally being an eyesore. Keeping it "active" might be helping them avoid fines.

Of course they will sue for tortious interference and for not delivering the product for those who may have put money down.

Actually yes they are doing this to avoid fines. This is not moving forward at this point, they need money.

Its way taller than anything that has been built in Midtown in a very long time. The towers are sleek and beautiful. I just hope we can get one tower out of this deal.

I have heard they were seeking new investors...so this may breathe new life into the project...wait and see is my recommendation haha

This is the development that will not die, is it confirmed height has decreased or are we just going off renderings?
