The 18-200 is a great all in one lens. It's my slowest lens, yet the most versatile.
Shooting indoors you'll typically need to use a flash, unless it's really bright.

Here is a recent sample of shots that I've taken with my 18-200mm.

Great shot Witty. Speaking of great shots, check out this off topic link of colour shots from the 30's and 40's.

I LOVE colour photos from eras that are usually only seen in b&w. Thanks for the link.

There are actually quite a few cool galleries on that site.

yeah cool link. Of course the comments are half focused on racism now....... What a crazy period...it is hard to believe that these are from only 80 years ago.

Was in edmonton yesterday for a meeting and thought I would take this shitty little picture..... lol Good density coming along in demonton. I probably didn't even capture half of the condos in the picture!

Quick story.....I found this one spot to take a picture, but there were trees in the way. I couldn't see another view, so I walked around found a "trail" up the hill........I had to duck under branches, get bitten by mosquitos, climb onto an old tree (and a big branch almost fell on me when it broke off) and then finally I took the pic. Feeling happy, I climbed back down the trail, got a couple of scratches and could have easily been hit by a car. I got back into my car...... and down the road...... there was a whole dedicated lookout point to take pictures ONE BLOCK AWAY!!! haha. Im such a doofy. I didn't stop at the lookout point.

That's the problem with Edmonton, there are hardly any decent vantage points to get an actual skyline shot.

They need to trim all the trees along Saskatchewan drive (between 107 and 100th st), you can't see shit.

Yup that's where I was......

Its funny....they have a sign called ______ lookout (forget the name) and that is where i tried to take the picture. Clearly, the sign is outdated as there is no way to get a view there....lol. A little bit of trimmage would help for sure. Not too much though! maybe some view windows here and there? Anyway, that city is looking really good. The have planted trees and shrubs everywhere and it is looking more like vancouver along gateway boulevard and the stracthcona area!

I figured you guys would enjoy those. I could look at those old pictures all day. Sounds kind of stupid, but I kind of get surprised at how colourful everything actually was back then. Not that I thought that era was actually in B&W...

Not sure if I posted these before, but along the same lines here are some old color photos of NYC from 1941. It's like a spooky time machine.

We sure dress like shit these days in comparison. Also note the dearth of fat people.

I think you've posted a few of those photos before, but thanks for the link.
I like how even the winos wore suits back then. I'd still rather live in today though.

Nice images Witty. I like the reflection of Nexen in First Alberta Place's elevator lobby windows.
