If you click on the "Wateview construction site" video it does a good job explaining it.
Just a paraphrase {not exact quotes} " the lower SW quadrant of the building will have no views, ... so on many of the floors we have just blank space, blank volume in order to get more of our space up above floor 28 which is where the good views are."

How about a midnight snack from room service with your new condominium?
That's part of the package at Waterview Tower, a new building under construction on Wacker Drive. Residents can get 24-hour service from the five-star Shangri-La Hotel to be housed in the 90-story building.
These must be to attach one section of rebar to another, any ideas on why they are so big ? Why not just thread the ends of the re-bar, and put on a simple coupler ? ( photos from Sept 14th 5 pm )
Simple coupler ?

^^^ Wow, at this rate it very well might beat Trump to TO. She's really moving now, looks like they added a floor or two in just a couple of days... And just 3 months ago people were naysaying that this wouldn't get out of the hole.
I noticed that the Columns on NClark are much thinner than the ones on Wacker. Perhaps they decided restructure the layout...the Wacker side goes to the top while the NClark side only has to support the parking Garage?
Was Waterviews tower lot the last surface parking lot in the loop not built on??
NO - unless you mean in the loop literally, which the Waterview is not.
