DENVER | Skyhouse Denver | 282 FT | 25 FLOORS

Another recently announced project for Denver:

New Upper Downtown Project: Skyhouse Denver

This will be a 25-story luxury apartment project with 354-unit project with a six-story parking garage adjacent to it. Groundbreaking is planned for late 2014.

It's pretty much a clone of the Skyhouses that have gone up elsewhere in the nation, but this is a first for Denver.

OMG, Denver's been hit too! LoL

I remember when the first one went up right in front of my viewscape when I lived in Atlanta in 2012. Something like 10-11 have gone up since. At least all else equal, literally, you can compare rents in the different Skyhouses to see where your city falls in that spectrum.

This building will be 282 ft tall. If a moderator could add that to the thread title, it would be greatly appreciated.

More soil testing. Had several sections of the surface parking area blocked off.

Since it seems as if they have these building mass produced, then I guess all the developers need is a lot to build....... and they can venture into new cities.... or they can go ahead and build seconds, or thirds, or fourths, etc. even in the same city. If the demand is there for these rentals, it's just a matter of finding the property.

Mass production of high rise rental buildings....... I think that it's basically a good idea.

By the way, site work for this project began last week. The old parking lot was removed and I think that a pile drive is on site to begin foundation work.

They've placed a few caissons on site, so this one is officially under construction now.

About time the old Cosmopolitan Hotel site saw some action. Even if it is a cookie-cutter design, it should add nice flair to that part of downtown.
