Houston billionaire's foundation to relocate to new trophy tower
Quote:
The Laura and John Arnold Foundation plans to relocate its Houston headquarters to Amegy Tower off Loop 610 in the Galleria area.
The new space will almost double the Arnold Foundation's footprint compared to its existing 13,500-square-foot space at 2800 Post Oak Blvd. in Williams Tower, John Arnold told the Houston Business Journal.
The Arnold Foundation will occupy a portion of the 18th floor, and its neighbor will be Centaurus Advisors. Centaurus recently filed a building permit with the city valued at $1.8 million for buildout of the space. Harvey Builders is listed as the contractor.
The new space will also allow the firm to grow as needed in the future, Arnold added.
