The renderings in that video are very nice. Love the tag line too; "No Parallels". Also, implementing Chinese lettering at the entrance is a wise touch. Word will travel fast among 1.357 Billion that they have a welcoming home-away-from-home here, when considering a vacation in the US. Well done, Gang.

LVDW, your napkin sketch sure has come a long way!

Very beautiful. It'll fit in very well in Chicago. That distant shot they've shown several time from the vantage point looking north from the lake always looks so fake and cartoony to me. I still can't really get a great sense of what this tower will look like at a distance.

It would be awesome to have one of those slanted columns inside your condo

^ Those condos will probably sell out quick. Similar how popular the condos in the John Hancock Center are if your window has one of the cross braces.

Very excited to see this one gaining steam.

Damn this is stunning. Only complaint is that dinky little pool, and the cheesy entrance font. Also, correct me if i'm wrong (not from Chicago), but pretty sure that view of John Hancock isn't possible from Wanda's site lol.

Well the pool will only be good for 5 months out of the year, unless they turn it into a big hot tub in the winter(or for ice skating in the winter). And yes unless Wanda is in the middle of the lake that view of JHC is not possible.

That's just the outdoor pool. There's an indoor pool for guests and presumably owners.

Without diving too much into the realms of xenophobia and perceptions (right or wrong ones) I think the sign on the marquee may very well entice Chinese overseas or even wealthy Chinese here. However Chinese to everyone else doesn't really denote luxury and quality. German. French. Yes. Chinese? Not so much. I wonder if when actually built if the plans to execute the Chinese moniker on the marquee would actually come about. I guess the marketing team is betting it will help attract a slew of Chinese buyers more then it repel non-Chinese buyers.
