Great shot of Joe. I didn't think the glass would be this blue from the rendering.

I'm not sure they use that on any of their buildings.

Most of their projects renderings, what was white, ended up being either just light bare concrete (12 AS) or painted concrete (Spire).

I thought this was supposed to be one of their more upscale buildings, I would have like to see them do a panel faced building even in cast fake stone (like the Mansion at Lenox).

What project has EIFS?

^^^^spire definitely used EIFS....gallery is using a similar process for the architectural elements above the 2nd/3rd floor.

Looks like the facade of Gallery is going to be a dark brown, according to the current webcam shots. Not too bad, though it might look different in real life.

Work is now being done on the final floor and we will start to see the 2 story crown/penthouses begin to rise on the western part of the building.

One of the tower cranes is being taken down today

It is always fascinating to watch a tower crane raise or lower itself with its hydraulic jacking frame, and the rear tower crane at Gallery is coming down as I type. If you can't see it live, you can watch the progress on webcam.

Very nice shot, Joe. At that angle from St. Phillip's, Gallery looks great. I like it!

I must say that while the actual building looks better than the rendering, I am sad to see the blue glass go on. I had thought they were using grey glass for this one, and I was somewhat excited about that. Oh well...

Gallery's tower crane is coming down today...

Always an interesting process to watch on the OxBlue webcam. The crown is finished, and I think I like this building now that it's almost complete. When the exterior finishing and landscaping are complete, it's going to look very nice.

agreed. i actually like gallery quite a bit....one of novare's better efforts. some decent uplighting on the "distributor cap" (as it's been called) will really make the building stand out......reminiscent of an 80's po-mo.

I agree. It's growing on me, too. I wouldn't mind living inside the distributor cap.

It is reported in Novare's Summer newsletter that the building is 50% under contract.
