That's why there has been a huge increase of quadanium steel shipped to Toronto recently.

Off topic slightly, but I agree this is a vital access point off the Gardiner. Especially with so much extra traffic in the area once Ten York, Harbour Plaza and other nearby towers are completed. I guess removing the off-ramp will just push congestion to the other exits nearby.

True, but the Gardiner has so few ingress and egress points as it is.

That was the point I was trying to make, I just didn't elocute my thoughts too well.

The exit is being reconfigured. There will be a shorter ramp that allows for a wider Harbour Street.

Is the cloverleaf being retained?

Then how are people going to get off the highway?

Wedge-Shaped Ten York Rising in Toronto's South Core

Quote:
The development occupies a narrow site bounded by York Street to the east, the Gardiner Expressway to the north, and its Yonge-Bay-York off-ramp (slated to be demolished in the near future) to the south. The now fully formed podium levels will be the site of the porte-cochère and garage entrance, as well as residential amenities including a fitness centre, theatre, party room, and an outdoor amenity deck with a swimming pool. The triangular swimming pool can now be seen at the westernmost tip of the podium's upper level in the image below, identifiable by its black waterproof liner.

The image above also reveals that work is now underway on the first of the building's tower floors above the eastern half of the podium. Set back from the podium structure on all sides, the tower will take the form of a less-pronounced wedge, and will be clad in a combination of curtain wall glass and finished metal.
