Make no mistake the Bombers need to keep the wins coming as Calgary is only one game back right now.

That said the Bombers have three massive games that will decide the season in October:

Oct 5th in Regina (winner takes the tie breaking season series)
Oct 19th in Calgary
Oct 25th v Calgary at home (last home game of the season)

Win those three and stay in first and the west and this could be the year the drought ends.

That said if Streveler keeps playing well the Bombers could have a tough call in the off season having to decide who is number one for the start of next season.

Here's hoping that the resurrected Collaros leads the Bombers to a win tonight!

^ We'll see what we can do... I fear for Collaros' safety, though.

The season sure took a nose dive. From far and away favourites for at least a cup berth, if not victory. To this..

Just need to string a couple wins together in the playoffs though.

Yeah, that's the saving grace, all is not lost yet. You get hot in November and anything can happen...

I'm pretty sure that I speak for all Rider fans when I say that to lose a playoff game to a Bombers team led by Collaros would be a knife to the heart.

That was about as good a football game as you'll ever see - a great advertisement for the quality of CFL football. Loved the $5 tip.

A very exciting finish. I imagine the team is buoyed by the fact that they have a veteran QB who is able to pull out a come from behind victory in the last couple of minutes. Bombers are now looking at just three wins to win it all. I think it's a bit of a long shot at this point, but the CFL is all about weird long-shot teams winning the Cup.

Collaros and the Bombers as a whole stepped up big time for the win. This season is far from done for the Bombers.

So what are our Winnipeg friends hearing about fans making the drive down the TCH for the game Sunday. Its supposed to be a beautiful day.

There is tons of drama here surrounding Fajadro's injury. It should make for an interesting match-up against the Bomber QB tag team.

I have to admit I was getting pretty down on the Bombers with the way the second half of the season unfolded, but Collaros has changed everything... the WSF made me a believer again. It all feels possible now.

I would loooove to head to Regina for the game but it's tough to drop everything and go. So I'll be on my couch with the intensity meter dialled up to 11... before the game I will be blasting Lose Yourself until my wife yells at me

PS - thank you to Crisis for all of his moral support during the dark times!

You're welcome - 50 years as a Riders fan teaches you to never give up hope.

The use of Streveler in the 2nd half of the WSF was inspired. Even though Calgary knew he was going to run the ball damn near every time he was in there, they still couldn't stop it. My fear is that the Bombers will devise a scheme wherein both Collaros and Streveler are in the backfield at the same time. I think that would give fits to any defensive coordinator.

I just read that Streveler took 23 snaps and never threw a pass. Somehow was still very effective.

I am confident in the Bombers this weekend with them getting hot at the right time and the new 2 qb system running nicely now. Also with Fajardo banged up he looks pretty limited in what the Riders can do offensively especially with both times the Bombers played in Regina this year were real defensive slugfests when Fajardo was healthy.
