Driving south on 85 very early this morning it looked like the crown was partially (I hope) lit. Didn't get a very good look but it seemed like it was the lower half only.

From 85 it looks like the crane is down!

I drove by on Monday and the building is starting to look more finished.

Does anyone know what the construction is behind the building? Surely that can't be all parking. Is it 200 or condos?

yes, the crane is down. I was over there yesterday at my Dentist's office just south of Peachtree on Piedmont. Yes, the construction behind 100 is the condos which rise above the lower parking deck levels, for 200, I believe.

If my memory serves me right Dougall5505, the parking structure will serve 2 more office towers, 2-3 residential towers, and an entertainment district. I can't remember the website for this development but a simple google search should work if you care to look at the overall project. It's a pretty large development.

from certain angles, I love it. from others, I hate it. sometimes it looks incredibly squatty to me. I have no idea why though.

Youre absolutely right, but at the same time the massiveness of the structure is what makes me take another look. I like the "freshness" of it, it almost looks cleaner than others( maybe its just that new car smell). But It fits well in a city like atlanta that lacks the amount of medium sized building like other larger cities.
