I'm sure it will be a beautiful building but I was down there over the weekend and that whole Park Row is so dark, I can't help but think of the 'Fortress of Ultimate Darkness' from the movie "Time Bandits". lol

I try to stay positive on architecture era styles such a brutalist, but man that Verizon building must go, theres no fixing that hideous eyesore

If they would just finish it it would look fine. I don't know what they could do to that shaft though. I suppose they could hand faux windows on it so at least it matched the rest of the glass.

I'm still in disbelief that they painted the bracing and shadows on the rear of that building like a trompe l'oeil.
