We need James from TOWERS.net on council, y'all. Let's start the petition!

I heard Kirk Watson may be running for mayor again.

He and Will Wynn were the last two great mayors of this city.

More Kirk Watsons, and Chris Rileys. Less Tovos and Morrisons.

Nice find. That there is unquestionably student housing. But I like the dark colors.

Something a little different for West Campus, but it still keeps the student housing vibe.

Wow....couldn't be more different than the old rustic apartments that are there now.

......The Matrix on 24th.

I wonder what kind of materials are going to be used for floors 2-4?

Speaking of that, someone tagged the north wall of the Homewood Suites building after fencing was put up for the Vesper. The graffiti was painted over, but then someone climbed the tower crane and made a much bigger tagging mess to the Homewood Suites wall.

Here we go. Passed by today and they reopened the bike lane. Maybe they realized they’d be cutting of cyclists from heading southbound on a busy stretch without a detour.

Austin, Texas and College Park, Md. — Greystar has closed on $600 million in financing for three mixed-use student housing developments located in Texas and Maryland. Construction on all projects began in October with completion scheduled for fall 2024.

The second development serving students attending the University of Texas is Union on 24th, a $262 million, 1,448-bed high-rise community in Austin’s West Campus neighborhood. Greystar will lead the development and self-perform construction.

Maybe the students have to volunteer build hours as a part of the lease agreement?
