Fantastic set per usual!

This one especially jumped out - excellent framing.

What are the construction cranes for? Anything tall going up?

Killer set of pictures Sawtooth! Fascinating to observe how another person see's the same place I also view every day.

I live in the West End. Really hoping as Idaho St picks up Hale's townhomes and The Watercooler apts go in that we'll have more reason to enjoy the skyline looking toward the east which isn't so often pictured. Gardner's Watercooler would've really changed that view at least from street level.

Thanks for sharing this wide ranging selection of your pictures!

Beautiful tour and pictures, as usual, Sawtooth! Thanks for sharing.

I love Boise and the landscapes around it. You live in a very nice city inside a very nice state.

By the way, how is being the heat wave you´re suffering all these days? I see you´ve exceeded highest of 104ºF a day after the other. I hope you stay cool away the heat.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Really good set of pictures! Boise looks like it would be a great place to live especially, of the smaller cities category of places anyway.

Thanks Shawn. btw I am Sean

The crane by the US Bank tower is for the City Center Plaza, a new office/retail building and convention center expansion and an underground multi-modal/bus center to be called the Main Street Station. http://gardnercompany.net/portfolio-.../#leasing-info

http://www.valleyregionaltransit.com...DALCENTER.aspx

The other two are for JUMP and the new Simplot World Headquarters.

Neither will be a new tallest but both are good infill.

Thanks Danny.

The heat wave hit fast and it is supposed to cool down later this next week. The temps do cool down around sunset and the summer nights are great.

There is a lot of water in Boise so people float or swim in the river or recreate at the whitewater park and the many ponds around town to stay cool during the heat. Or hang out at home with the AC cranked.

Last weekend I headed up to the Sawtooth's with a few friends to cool off at the lakes. The mountains and lakes are another place people from Boise go to in order to get out of the heat wave in the valley.

Here are some photos from last weekend, of course.

Grandjean, Ponderosa Pine Scenic Byway

A small section of the Sawtooth Mountains from the highway.
This range is 30 miles long and up to 15 miles wide and most of it is in classified wilderness and can only be accessed by foot.

Wow! Amazing parks and landscapes! Beautiful natural scenery.

Thanks for your reply and for the new pictures, Sawtooth!

Is it normal so much amount of snow on the mountains by this season? Love the green areas of Idaho. What a lovely place!

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.
