Alexa is almost finished: Looks a bit too theme-parkish fro my taste.

And a new pic from the O2-world:

hi all,

thanks Grumpy for a wonderful thread on Berlin, very much appreciated, I'm going back there in September!

Could you or other members post updates sometime in the future relating to page three post 104 of the aerial photographs of the area Aleaxanderplatz- Spittelmarkt- Molkenmarkt area so we can see how this area has developed since your original post?

I was in Berlin last August 2006, and this March 2007, and took some photos around Berlin, not very good as shot from street level and mostly in poor lighting!

You cannot link to pictures on your local hard drive. You need some webspace on a webserver to upload the picture to and then link to that.

@khazars - grwt pics and nice to see an update to the thread. However you gotta credit the photografer (or copyrightholder) on SSP. If they're ours, just say so and it'll be cool

I'm planning on posting more pics, split into three themes.

One will be on commy architecture, from Leipzigerstrasse/ KMA from Strausbergerplatz to Frankfurter Tor and a few arials around the Alex!

Then some pics of newer buildings in Berlin, like the townhouses and others like Kant triangle, cloppenberg, Steglitz shopping centre.

Lastly, some of Berlin's older buildings, like churches, Rathauses etc!

What do you all think?

Again, good pics, shows the scale Berlin is built on (much bigger than Stockholm), but also again you gotta credit the photos in the post (even if they're yours!)
