Seriously lol. Speaking of slow the Constellation Park pit looks fully excavated but I'm told the GC and developer parted ways. We've been waiting on that for what, a decade now?

First and foremost Happy Thanksgiving to EVERYONE of my fellow highrise enthusiasts!!! Thank you very much for the photo updates... was just over there by Century City towers but have trouble posting pics. I am happy to see these towers FINALLY gaining some height! The foot print of this project is truly impressive I cant wait to see the final product! Exciting time for Los Angeles! Hopefully we will continue the momentum and see some more highrise development break ground soon!!!!

I thought this was a stalled project because it hasn't been talked about for about a year now, but I see that the crane is hard at work on a saturday day 11/30.

I just stopped at the McDonald's on Sunset and Crescent Heights and noticed that most of the businesses in that strip mall have either moved or are permanently closed. They were all bought out, most likely. Expect big news related to the 8150 Sunset Blvd project to hit soon.

I don't know how to format an article within a post beautifully like some of you, but this article is from November 7th, regarding the modifications to the intersection itself as part of the project. Further evidence it's moving right along. The Sunset Strip is becoming quite an architectural playground

Agreed! I'm really excited to see what these two towers, along with the renovated hotel and new front plaza look like when they are all completed.

By far the best of the entries, but still a very mediocre design. Alas.

Thank you for the CC towers photo update... They have been rising alot faster now that they are focused on the actual towers THEMSELVES. The scale of the project is really big when you get up close to it and see how much ground it covers which explains why they have taken so long to get where they are now. I think they are a really nice addition to the city... also the Ktown department of mental health project on Vermont has started to get some height to it.. I think they are around the 15th floor give or take a floor drove past it today. Good times for LA highrise development...
