The REAL MEMPHIS Beat.

Here are some pictures from Memphis from the past few months. You have to love how gritty Memphis is. More to come later.

Black folks wear boots too.

Great city. Great photos.

No rooftop ducks?

Is the Mississippi that high every year?

Christ I remember following the Mississippi River flood last year hoping the feds would free up some EWP money for other cities impacted by flood waters.

Hell of a town, by the way

Full of awesome.

Nice shoes, also.

Thanks for these beautiful pictures, arkitekte!

It´s very nice to see Memphis. I see it´s a pretty city, with much ambient and nice urban development.

I want to go there someday, of course.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

My knowledge of Memphis comes from 8Ball & MJG songs and the first 48. Nice to see the street scenes along with the architecture. A well put together set. Thanks.

The only one I saw the day I was on the roof.

The Mississippi was that high back at the beginning of May. I think they classified it as a 200 year flood.

Thanks for the comments!
