I don't do downtown Seattle so why bother... CH/FH/CD

The weather was decent for chilly 21st of February so I grabbed my point and shoot with no agenda other than to head out for a walk. We start snapping pictures at a new hot work site on Capitol Hill.

Wow, lots of areas that don't get enough attention in Seattle threads! And good tour of my old school.

How long ago did Seattle U paint their dorm red? I don't recall seeing that. Looks way better.

When I was in Europe, I met someone guys who had gone to Seattle University, and they told me that it's students are forced to live in campus. I'm sure student housing is heavily-subisidized, so I couldn't figure out why a school would force anyone to live in campus. Why would they care where you live anyways? I'd never heard of such a thing.

^ That's pretty common in the US - especially among smaller private schools. The idea is to create a learning community.

Great photos mSeattle.

Getting to this a little (a year) late, but great set! I went to Seattle U, so it was fun to explore the neighborhood again. I lived on 8th and Cherry, and ~ 18th and Jefferson (or some other nearby street, can't remember now.) Thanks for such a comprehensive tour!
