Looks good but that brick is a little too busy for my taste.

Smile NEW YORK | 561 Greenwich Street | 252 FT | 19 FLOORS

Project: 561 Greenwich Street

Quote:
Another new office building is going up in the Hudson Square neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, which has been undergoing a commercial revitalization.

Trinity Real Estate filed an application for a 19-story, 252-foot-tall tower at 561 Greenwich Street, according to the Buildings Department filing from Friday.

The nearly 260,000-square-foot project will mostly be offices with retail on the first level, according to the application. There also will be terraces on four levels of the building. An application was filed in April to knock down a one-story building there.

Trinity’s Sujohn Sarkar and the architectural firm of record, COOKFOX Architects, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Hey everyone, sorry if this isn’t exactly kosher to ask in this forum, but I was wondering if anyone of you could help me with something? I am currently working for a real estate developer doing multi family housing in Salt Lake City and have been for the past year and a half (I graduated in 2017) but am looking to make a big life change by moving to New York City sometime next year. I’m looking to continue my career in real estate development and was wondering if you guys could help me with where to look? I’m trying to make a list of companies to contact myself but if any of you know of a few good firms you think I should look into please let me know. I would really appreciate any help I can get! Thanks!

Use Linkedln. Its a good resource.

Make sure you have a sales portfolio proof/track record to back it up and possibly something to back a profit/loss statement. NYC is competitive in that sense, especially top firms. Really if your looking to do sales.

Smile NEW YORK | 266 West 96th Street | FT | 23 FLOORS

Project: 266 West 96th Street

Quote:
Developer Fetner Properties recently unveiled renderings for a 23-story residential building with micro-units at 266 West 96th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Located between Broadway and West End Avenue, the development would be built on a lot currently occupied by a former MTA electric substation.

According to a proposal Fetner submitted to the city earlier this year, the development would have 171 total apartments with 91 regular-sized units and 80 micro-units, ranging from 290 to 340 square feet apiece. The smaller apartments would be marketed to seniors and 68 units would be permanent affordable housing units. All residents would have free access to amenities including the health club.

Smile NEW YORK | 14-16 Fifth Avenue | 244 FT | 21 FLOORS

Project: 14-16 Fifth Avenue

Quote:
Permits have been filed for a 21-story residential building at 14-16 Fifth Avenue in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Located between East 8th Street and East 9th Street, the lot is one block north of Washington Square Park and a short walk to the 8th Street subway station, serviced by the R and W trains. Madison Realty Capital is listed as the owner behind the applications, purchasing the mixed-use property in 2015 from City Urban Realty for $27.5 million.

The proposed 244-foot-tall development will yield 89,994 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 18 residences, most likely condos, with an average scope just shy of 5,000 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar.

Hill West Architects is listed as the architect of record.
